From a childhood dream to reality, many young people have seen their dreams come true. The path that some people took to get to their dream may have been long and difficult while others may have been quicker and easier, but reaching the ultimate goal is what people strive to achieve. In college basketball, there are a lot of dreams that people have that involves college basketball.


Although playing college basketball is usually the dream that most kids have about college basketball, some people like Yanni Hufnagel have a different dream that takes a unique route. As a young boy, Yanni Hufnagel was never interested in trying to become a basketball star. However, he was interested in becoming a college basketball coach.


Most kids know very little about coaching basketball. This was the case with Yanni Hufnagel, so he took the initiative to learn about the game of basketball. He learned as much as he could about basketball by taking the time to learn from many different resources. While he had a lot of desire to learn about basketball, Yanni Hufnagel was a young man who wanted to become someone. He did well in school and went to college after finishing high school.


While in his first year in college, Yanni Hufnagel became the manager of the college basketball team where he went to school. He approached the manager’s position with excitement, and he made a great impression on everyone around the basketball team. His joy and performance regarding the basketball manager position led him to the situation where he was offered an internship with a pro basketball team.


Hard work and good fortune combined to give him personal connections that helped him to get an assistant basketball coach position with a quality college basketball program. One job led to the next where Yanni Hufnagel started to make a name for himself around college basketball as a recruiter and coach.


Yanni Hufnagel future as an assistant college basketball coach continues to soar as he recently accepted an assistant basketball coach position with the Nevada Wolf Pack where he has been performing very well in his new coaching position.
